IES is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities will include overseeing indoor air quality testing, air sampling, hazardous materials sampling, health and safety consulting, site inspections during and after hazardous material removal, and preparing and reviewing formal scientific reports based on analytical findings and site conditions.

 



Salary Range: To Be Determined

Location: Chatham-Kent, Ontario

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Job Description: IES is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities will include overseeing indoor air quality testing, air sampling, hazardous materials sampling, health and safety consulting, site inspections during and after hazardous material removal, and preparing and reviewing formal scientific reports based on analytical findings and site conditions.  

Mandatory Requirements:
  •  Strong experience in environmental consulting and health and safety
  •  Strong knowledge of hazardous material regulations and guidelines
  •  Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
  •  Bondable
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Very strong attention to detail
  •  Desire to treat staff and clients in a professional, respectful manner
  •  Ability to develop, track and manage project budgets and milestones
  •  Ability to work under pressure and switch tasks efficiently
  •  Ability to prepare and review formal scientific reports
  •  Strong time management skills
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  •  Strong work ethic
  •  Strong ability and desire to learn
  •  Ability to understand and navigate staff through complex scenarios while following relevant regulatory and company processes

Preferred Requirements: Having a CRSP, CIH, ROH, EP, CAPM, PMP or similar environmental and/or project management designation is a strong asset.
